Welcome back to another AWESOME year at CGE!!! We hope you've had a fantastic summer and are ready to get back into the groove of school.
Monday, August 14 at 6:00pm will be our annual "New Kids on the Block" meeting for families of kindergarten & new students. Dinner will be provided, along with a supervised movie for the kids during the "business" portion of the meeting, so bring the family, make some friends, maybe win a prize, & get a quick lesson in "CGE PTO 101".
Tuesday, August 15 is Open House for grades 1-5 from 5-7pm. Watch for specifics from your child's teacher. PTO will have YUMMY samples of the cookies available as part of this year's Donation Drive & Catalog Sale that will begin later this month. You'll also be able to purchase CGE T-shirts and water bottles.
Thursday, August 17 at 6pm will be the first regular monthly PTO Potluck Dinner and Parent Meeting. Dinner will be provided for this month, so no need to worry about cooking. Families are welcome, and we will provide a supervised movie for the kids after everyone eats. We will be discussing a few upcoming opportunities to get involved at your child's school, as well as playing a fun game and getting the chance to win a prize.
We are excited to announce that in the 2016-17 school year, CGE PTO earned over $1700 in donations from the Kroger Community Rewards program thanks to the 64 families who are currently registered. Our goal for this year is to have at least 600 families registered. We want to encourage EVERY family and staff member to register your Kroger Plus card and link it to Cedar Grove Elementary PTO at
